Rates and Terms

♦ Accounts are placed and our firm engaged by simply faxing or emailing invoices or a statement for each account/contract. Once received our firm is officially engaged and no further contact with the then placed customer is permitted.

♦ 50% on claims under $1000, out of business, sold or insolvent, skip traced, secondary placements, Out of statute of limitations, Judgments.

♦ 30% on International accounts in business

♦ Special fee arrangements may be negotiated for large, unusual accounts and by volume. An hourly rate of $500 per hour for investigation and mediation services is also available in lieu of the contingency rates

♦ Return of Merchandise- When the client elects to accept a return of merchandise, one-half of the standard rate will be charged on the value of the returned merchandise (value determined by invoiced amount to clients customer).

♦ Discovery Charge- When it has been discovered that an account was resolved prior to placement with us, one-half of the standard rate will be charged to client.

♦ Account Withdrawal- Once demand for resolution has been made, any account withdrawn from mediation at the direction of the client prior to 90 days may be subject to the applicable rate of the assigned amount. If there is a promise of resolution on the account then cancellation can only occur upon full payment of fees regardless of the 90-day right to represent.

♦ Communication- Should the client interfere in the mediation or litigation process and accept immediate payment or a payment plan over time L&M’s commission is due and payable within 30 days. Client agrees they shall have no direct communications with the customer after the account has been placed for mediation or litigation. Client agrees to direct any customer that contacts them back to L&M.
